What does EMS therapy entail?
During an EMS Therapy session, electrodes are strategically placed on your horse's body on top of the muscles using a blanket. These electrodes deliver gentle electrical pulses that stimulate the muscles to contract and relax. These contractions activate different muscle fibers, even the deeper muscles that are not stimulated by traditional exercises. As a result, your horse experiences a more comprehensive and balanced muscle workout.
