Blood tests

Blood tests are a valuable diagnostic tool and provide information about the overall health of the horse. It can also be used to monitor the effectiveness of treatment and evaluate the progress of a recovery process.

Blood tests can be performed both at clinics and on location. It usually requires a simple blood draw after which the sample is sent to the laboratory for analysis. The results of the blood test are interpreted in combination with the clinical findings and other diagnostic information to provide a complete picture of the horse's health.
